Canine eye problems, cataracts or glaucoma, are more common than most people think. Eyes are the window to the soul. Without them your personality would still prevail? Is this true? Can a dog with severe eye disease cope with no eyes? Yes, they can ,but the main question is can you, the dog owner, live and cope with that?

Follow the journey of me Peppie and yes, I am a beautiful Pomeranian. My journey starts with having fairly good eyesight progressing to cataracts and lastly severe glaucoma. The end-stage of my dog eye disease was characterize by severe swollen eyes (bulging eyes), red eyes , the cornea of both eyes turned white-blue and I developed ulcers in my eyes. Then my remarkable recovery after having traumatic eye surgery.
